Founded in 2015, Distinctive Depth Photography began as a passion project to capture the authentic beauty in life's most meaningful moments. Our founder, Sarah Mitchell, discovered her love for photography during her journalism studies at Columbia University, where she learned that every image tells a powerful story.
What started as documenting local events in New York quickly evolved into a full-service photography studio specializing in portraits, weddings, and corporate events. Our mission is to create timeless images that preserve precious memories for generations to come.
